Description

Primary Objectives of the Position:

The primary function of this role is to assist in construction work focused on grain bin floor installation, concrete pouring, and general labor. This is a hands-on, active work performed outdoors with a small crew. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and learning construction skills.


Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Assist with installation of grain bin floors and related components.
  • Help pour, finish, and clean up concrete projects.
  • Perform general construction labor including lifting, carrying, and site cleanup.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Follow job site safety procedures and crew direction.
  • Perform basic groundskeeping duties, including mowing and site upkeep.
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Other:

  • Must be in good physical condition capable of lifting, carrying and pushing weights up to 50 pounds and have full use of both arms and legs and both hands.
  • Must be able to climb stairs, reach above, below and at shoulder level, work on moving machinery, work at unprotected heights with dust, fumes or gas and in temperature extremes both inside and outside.
  • Must attend all educational training required by law.
  • Must comply with all safety regulations and policies of the company.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma desired but not required. 
  • Must be an insurable driver.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Value-Added Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Basic construction or concrete experience preferred, but not required.
Salary Description
$20.00/ hour
