About the Role 


Summer (Part or Full-time) with potential to transition into a full-time role.


O’Connor is seeking a Social Media intern to support content creation and digital marketing initiatives across our social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and strategic, with a strong understanding of what drives engagement, while maintaining a professional voice and supporting best practices. 

Requirements

Qualifications 

  • A college student or recent grad with a demonstrated experience in content creation, culture, and digital storytelling 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms  (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube..etc) including what makes content perform well on each platform
  • Well acquainted with creator/influencer communities and partnerships 
  • Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to bring new ideas to the table 
  • Able to work independently and meet fast-paced deadlines with a positive, collaborative attitude 

Responsibilities

  • Be you and help create and define our path with your unique passion and creativity 
  • Create, and edit short and long form video content  
  • Capture high quality video content at company events, office activities, and other initiatives.
  • Support on-site content production planning and execution 
  • Research and contribute creative content ideas that tap into trends, memes, and timely moments while also delivering data and information
  • Assist in identifying, and coordinating with appropriate creators and partners where applicable 
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and post-capture organization of assets 
  • Some local travel may be required to support content capture locally
