The Role
As a Field Investigator, you will be the "eyes and ears" on the ground, conducting a variety of surveillance and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) assignments. This is a dynamic role requiring a proactive individual who can work independently to mitigate insurance fraud and provide our clients with the clarity they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Surveillance: Conduct covert video surveillance of subjects using established investigative techniques to secure high-quality video documentation.
- SIU Assignments: Execute specialized investigations, including taking recorded statements, conducting scene inspections, performing activity checks, and securing legal documents.
- Case Management: Review all case materials prior to field activity and strictly adhere to specific case manager instructions and client requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed field notes and submit all video evidence, photographs, and digital recordings via email by the next business day.
- Communication: Provide regular, professional updates to Case Managers regarding the progress of ongoing assignments.
- Integrity: Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and ensure all activities are conducted within legal and ethical boundaries.

What You Bring to the Team
- Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience in field surveillance and SIU claim investigations.
- Licensure: A current Private Investigator License (where applicable) and a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Technical Proficiency: Must possess the necessary tools of the trade, including a reliable vehicle, laptop, handheld video camera, digital recorder and covert camera of choice.
- Communication Skills: Strong professional writing skills and the ability to articulate complex observations clearly and concisely.
- Personal Attributes: You are a self-starter who thrives with limited supervision, possesses a high degree of dependability, and is eager to continue learning in the investigative field.
- Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older.
