Marketing Intern (Summer 2026) – KDM Engineering


Overview
At KDM Engineering, this isn’t a “sit and watch” internship—you’ll help shape how we show up to the market. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll work at the intersection of branding, recruiting, and employee engagement, supporting real campaigns that attract talent and strengthen our company culture. From social content to career events to internal communications, you’ll contribute to work that people actually see and engage with. What You’ll Do

  • Support development and execution of marketing campaigns across digital and internal platforms 
  • Create and edit content for social media, recruiting materials, and internal communications 
  • Assist with employer branding initiatives and campus outreach efforts 
  • Help plan and coordinate events, career fairs, and community initiatives 
  • Collaborate with HR, recruiting, and operations teams on engagement strategies 
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to support marketing decisions 
  • Maintain and update marketing materials, presentations, and brand assets 
  • Track campaign performance and engagement metrics 

  

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with an interest in employer branding or recruiting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 
  • Interest in branding, recruiting, and employee engagement 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with social media platforms required 

  

Details

  • Pay: $16–$21 per hour (based on experience) 
  • Schedule: 4 days per week, in-office 
  • Location: Chicago, IL

Salary Description
$16 - $21 per hour
