The Program Expeditor manages the work orders pertaining to a specific program and directs the workflow through the MJF post-process areas. The Program Expeditor works with department leads and program managers in regard to scheduling, root cause / corrective actions, and RMAs. The Program Expeditor will be responsible for all work orders for their specific program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for managing the Xometry daily ship list and updating the Forecast Support Team with questionable geometry, issues, concerns, and schedules that can’t be met.
- Maintain and own the Xometry tracker.
- Maintain an OTD (on time delivery) of 97% or better in accordance to the LTA (Long Term Agreement) with Xometry.
- Entering in data to the QA database.
- Work closely with the MJF Supervisors, Leads, Project Technicians, and the Shipping Department.
- Perform work instructions as detailed on the Job Sheet.
- Visually inspect parts for defects.
- Reject any parts that cannot meet the customer’s needs and create an appendix.
- Ensure that all jobs make it to the shipping department on time.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Promote a positive work environment.
- Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to navigate comfortably on computer
- Must have a good eye for details
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excels at time management and multitasking
- Must have solid organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- 2-3 years Microsoft Office experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Solidworks and/or other 3D modeling or CAD software
- High school diploma minimum
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, and other mandatory safety equipment.
- For the most part, ambient temperatures are climate controlled due to production requirements
- This role regularly operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to airborne powders and particulates. The ability to work in such conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation, is an essential function of the position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to accomplish the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the production floor
- Primarily works in a combination of office and manufacturing environments
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds
- May be required to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands to handle equipment or components
- Ability to work near manufacturing equipment, including exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures
- Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
- Proper lifting techniques required.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers is required for typing, data entry, and operating standard office equipment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and protective footwear
