Description

JOB SUMMARY

Intern will be responsible for carrying out a variety of administrative, engineering, or technical assignments pertaining to the project assigned under direct supervision of a professional Engineer. 


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update engineering drawings/graphics using Solidworks CAD and Solidworks Electrical 
  • Assist in developing Master Wire Lists 
  • Assist in developing Parts Lists/Build of Materials 
  • Assist Production in assembling kits for shipment
  • Assist in developing technical orders and schematics  
  • Assist in other engineering assignments as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 60 credit hours and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • United States citizen 


SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE. 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
