We are looking for a proactive, innovative team player to join our Production Team. This person must be able to operate equipment efficiently and effectively while adhering to the run schedule assigned by the team leader. 


Production worker's duties may vary from operating machinery, assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control. This person is also responsible for other duties given by the supervisor. This person must work well independently, with a team and support a safe and positive working environment.


This is an onsite position at our Ferndale, WA locations. The shift schedule is Monday-Thursday / 7:30 pm-6 am.

Requirements
  • Operate equipment to assist in the production process
  • Assemble materials and equipment as required
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
  • Support continuous process improvement efforts 
  • Support other departments as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all GMP's, Barlean's SOP's, and SQF regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Attention to Detail-documentation oriented processes.
  • Self-starter and follow through.
  • Task Oriented.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, and climb ladder and stairs.
  • Mechanical Aptitude.
  • Flexible to work overtime when needed. 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment preferred.


WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a plant/manufacturing environment. 


Salary Description
$20.13 - $23.00 Hourly
