RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weld products and understand weld consumables and weld parameters in order to achieve required weld quality while maintaining safety systems.
- Maintain robots and other automation equipment to assure maximum productivity including performing mechanical and electrical repairs during production and non-production time.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance and submit work orders to appropriate departments for resolution.
- Set up and program robots and other automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot improvements to reduce cycle times for robots and other automated equipment.
- Set weld parameters for mild steel, aluminum steel, and stainless steel.
- Set up, calibrate, and run welders and robotic production equipment
- Works from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models to inspects machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on specified production equipment.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma/GED required, mechanical or electrical vocational education preferred
- Years of Experience: 5 or more years of electrical experience required
- Technical Knowledge: Fanuc/ ABB robot experience preferred
- Read OHM Meter and electrical prints and symbols for robotic cells and equipment
