Trade Products is a division of Arrow International, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of charitable gaming products and solutions. We are currently looking for a talented Offset Press Feeder to join our team. The wage range for this position is $23.65-25.90 per hour.


Position Overview: Perform duties to assist in setting up and feeding offset presses. Safely performs position specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Work from schedules, written and verbal instructions
  • Assist in changing plates to mechanisms such as guides, grippers and elevator for size and type of stock; cleaning inking rollers; lubricate press parts; pack plate and blanket cylinders
  • Mix and obtain approval of color inks
  • Load press with specific type, size and color of paper stock
  • Bridge output as required by stock to avoid ink pickup or smearing
  • Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials
  • Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision
  • Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma / GED equivalent


Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to talk and hear
  • Ability lift and/or move up to 30lbs
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout shift
  • Ability to climb up and descend down steps
  • Bending and stooping
  • Ability to handle/grasp
  • Occasional pushing/pulling


Other Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be self-motivated and self-sufficient and able to follow directions
  • Should have an eye for detail and color accuracy 
  • Must be quality and time conscious
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Must be able to keep area orderly and clean
