Description
We are seeking a qualified Logistics Coordinator to join our team and grow with the company. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Process and monitor import shipments and orders
- Prepare and manage documentation, including rate requests, quotes, arrival notices, work orders, bills of lading, pick lists, and customer invoicing
- Coordinate with warehouses, truckers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Track and trace shipments and provide status updates as needed
- Provide customer service support and respond to inquiries
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations preferred (entry-level candidates may be considered and will be trained)
- Knowledge of U.S. import/export procedures is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based systems/search tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
