Job Summary

This role involves the assembly of aerospace components and subassemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. Depending on experience, responsibilities will range from basic to more advanced assemblies, encompassing varying levels of complexity, while supporting production schedules and maintaining quality standards. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly of aerospace mechanisms and precision assemblies
  • Use tools, fixtures and precision measuring equipment
  • Follow aerospace quality requirements including documentation and component preparation
  • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting, fit-up challenges, and process questions
  • Conduct functional testing, verification steps and quality checks
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and build documentation
  • Perform functional testing, verification steps, and detailed quality checks as required
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Production leadership to resolve build issues and help drive corrective actions
  • Ensure all documentation, traceability, and workmanship standards are met consistently
Requirements

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Assembly experience a plus, ideally in an aerospace environment 
  • Familiarity with AS9100 workmanship, documentation, and compliance regulations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and collaborative, problem solving mindset
  • Comfortable with using tools and performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow written instructions and work orders in English

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • Primarily production floor environment
  • Often exposed to loud, bustling or dusty environments
  • Regularly required to sit and stand. 
  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance. 
  • Occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. 
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Salary Description
$21.60 - $24.00 / hour DOE
