The Vered is seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused, and results-driven Sales Counselor to support the community’s sales and occupancy goals.  This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the opportunity to build occupancy within a new community that has significant long-term sales potential. The ideal candidate must be comfortable nurturing highly independent prospects and families through a longer sales cycle while maintaining strong follow-up, relationship-building, and closing skills. Guarantee Compensation : $74,000+

 
Compensation Structure: Guaranteed compensation + highly competitive performance-based bonus plan paid bi-weekly 


Requirements

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Essential Job Duties: (Other duties may be assigned as needed.) Must be willing and able to perform the following:

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents, families, professional referral sources, and community partners to support occupancy goals.
  • Conduct community tours and effectively present The Vered’s luxury services, amenities, lifestyle, and care offerings in accordance with the community sales process.
  • Follow up promptly and consistently with inquiries, leads, and referrals through calls, emails, events, outreach efforts, and personalized touchpoints.
  • Successfully nurture independent, discerning prospects and families through the decision-making process while maintaining a hospitality-driven sales approach.
  • Effectively generate leads independently through networking, outreach, community events, professional relationship-building, and local market engagement.
  • Utilize the CRM/database system to accurately document lead activity, maintain prospect information, and support strategic sales follow-up efforts.
  • Ensure the New Move-In checklist is completed accurately with support from appropriate team members.
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing events, educational presentations, outreach initiatives, and grand opening or promotional activities as directed by community leadership.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, ideas, and collaboration related to digital marketing efforts, advertising strategies, lead generation 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, senior living, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality, senior living, relationship-based sales, or high-touch customer service environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to nurture leads, build trust, and maintain consistent follow-up throughout a longer sales cycle.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-style environment with ambitious occupancy and sales growth expectations.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events, outreach, and community marketing activities.


Salary Description
$74,000 - $80,000+
