JOB SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Sr. Accountant role is to ensure accurate processing and review of financial activities and ensure accurate accounting and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This role will play a key role in the daily and monthly financial accounting activities for ADG Corporate and must ensure the accurate and efficient completion of these tasks, as well as assist accounting teams at subsidiary businesses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Execute financial responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with US GAAP.
· Prepare journal entries and reconciliations that support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
· Lead fixed asset and lease accounting process for ADG Corporate and Subsidiaries
· Assist in recurring reporting packages
· Effectively execute responsibilities by applying up-to-date accounting and business expertise by leveraging an understanding of company policies, data, controls, and resources.
· Serve as accounting resource for field accounting teams at business units.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance-related field; or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Three to Five years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
• Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Financial analysis skills and working knowledge of US GAAP
• Hybrid role based in Mooresville, NC; role may include travel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience using ERP systems
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate
