The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a regional engineering division, including revenue, staffing, and operations.

  • Oversee regional engineering operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and project requirements
  • Manage project backlog, staffing plans, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency and growth
  • Drive financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost control across engineering projects
  • Lead major engineering and marine projects, providing oversight and strategic direction
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a senior point of contact
  • Coordinate with the Vice President on regional strategy, business development, and operational planning
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to delivery standards across all engineering work 
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (PE required).
  • 10–15 years’ experience in engineering leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and revenue.
  • Strong business and operational acumen.

    • Bulkheads
    • Piers and wharves
    • Dams
    • Fender systems
    • Dolphins and mooring structures
    • Marine foundations
    • Bridge and waterfront infrastructure
    • Underwater inspection and rehabilitation projects
  • Experience working with:
    • USACE
    • NAVFAC
    • Port Authorities
    • State DOTs
    • Municipal waterfront agencies

Schedule

  • Primarily Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
  • Must be available as needed to support field operations, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional Saturdays.
  • Schedule may vary based on project demands, weather conditions, and critical construction activities.

Work Location & Requirements

  • Location: NY/NJ
  • Travel throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region as required.
  • Ability to access active marine construction sites, vessels, and waterfront facilities.

Salary Description
$150,000-190,000 / year
