What You'll Do

As a Transitions Compliance Intern, you’ll work directly with our Compliance team on real projects that shape how our organization operates. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in reviewing and updating company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulatory requirements
  • Support compliance audits, monitoring activities, and internal reviews
  • Conduct research on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to hospice and healthcare
  • Help track and document compliance activities, findings, and corrective actions
  • Maintain compliance records and databases with accuracy and strict confidentiality
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and staff training materials
  • Participate in risk assessments and compliance testing processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required compliance information
  • Support ethics and compliance awareness initiatives across the organization

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
  • Basic understanding of legal and regulatory concepts is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
  • High level of integrity and a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Salary Description
$20.00 - $25.00 an hour
