Role Summary
The Facilities Coordinator supports the maintenance, operation, and overall functionality of a multi-use property, including buildings, infrastructure, and agricultural operations. This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical skills, equipment operation, and seasonal flexibility. 

Key Responsibilities

Facilities & Property Maintenance

  • Maintain and repair buildings, infrastructure, and utility systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and facility systems. 
  • Ensure property is clean, organized, and maintained to operational or guest-ready standards. 
  • Manage workshop organization, tools, parts inventory, and materials. 
  • Maintain records to support company standards, inspections, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Follow safety procedures and support a safe working environment. 

Farm Operations Support

  • Operate farm and construction equipment in support of daily operations. 
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery. 
  • Provide support during peak farming and event seasons. 

Scheduling & Availability

  • Standard 40-hour workweek. 
  • Seasonal demand (April–November) may require 50–60 hours/week, including weekends.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, equipment repair, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience operating farm and/or construction equipment required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and mechanical repair.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying and addressing issues.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat (90°F+), cold temperatures, and precipitation.
