St. John Vianney Catholic School is seeking a fulltime Institutional Advancement Enrollment Coordinator/Admissions Coordinator. 

 

 

Job Description 


The admissions office oversees student recruitment, admissions, admissions testing, enrollment,  re-enrollment processes and student records.  It is also responsible for working with marketing, advertising and communication about financial aid and the dual language program. The person also works with marketing to assist the principal with parent information sessions and visits to area parishes to promote St. John Vianney School.  The position reports to the principal and requires a very hands-on/do it yourself person, with a strong person to person component. Energy and initiative are key.

St. John Vianney School is a PK3-Grade 8 Catholic school, a ministry of St. John Vianney parish. It is known for excellent academics and strong character/spiritual formation. It has a  family spirit and is enthusiastic about its mission in Catholic education.  This position requires an educator who understands elementary and middle school education.  A knowledge of Dual Language education and the ability to understand testing data.  It will require some weekend times to present to parishes an understanding of dual language education. 


 

Requirements

 

Job Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s      degree or advanced degree (preferred).      
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in admissions and/or      marketing.   
  • Experienced in Catholic School administrative tasks (preferred) 
  • Excellent communication/people skills (1:1 interaction with parents and students PK-8)  
  • Strong general business skills. 
  • Proficient in computer applications including word, spreadsheets, and      databases. 
  • Knowledge of website posting and social media  
  • Oral fluency and written proficiency in Spanish (required) 
  • Ability to translate written communications from English to Spanish 
  • Ability to work with development/marketing staff to plan marketing      events  
  • Give educational tours of the facilities 
  • Assist new families and children in registration 
  • Assist in communication to new families 
  • Facilitate monthly meetings and information sessions to families 
  • Organize with development the open house 
  • Ability to work with school PTO 
  • Ability to organize student records 
  • Participate in Academic Support Team 
  • Collecting, recording, maintaining, entering student record information 
  • Practicing Catholic with a desire to work for the Church. 

Education:  Bachelors or Master's Degree (Preferred).

Billingual Required:  Yes, Spanish.
