We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Water Spider to support our manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are always available, organized, and flowing efficiently across the production floor.
What You’ll Do
In this fast-paced role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping production running smoothly by:
- Maintaining clean, organized, and well-labeled material storage areas
- Performing routine Kanban replenishment rounds (4 times daily) to avoid shortages
- Monitoring material levels and proactively restocking as needed
- Pulling and delivering non-Kanban materials to production stations quickly and accurately
- Ensuring all Kanban containers and shelving are properly labeled and positioned
- Receiving incoming materials and placing them in designated locations
- Assisting with monthly inventory counts and reconciliation
- Identifying opportunities to improve organization and efficiency
- Supporting overall housekeeping and safety of material handling areas
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Kanban systems is a plus
- ERP experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
- Frequent use of hands and arms for handling materials
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
