Description

The Warehouse Route Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering products to customers while supporting daily warehouse operations. This role combines driving, inventory handling, order fulfillment, and warehouse support in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. The Warehouse Route Driver ensures accurate deliveries, maintains organized inventory, and upholds high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. A clean driving record and commitment to safe operating practices are required for success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete deliveries to customers.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain delivery records and required documentation.
  • Load, unload, move, and store products using proper handling and safety procedures.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organize inventory and maintain orderly warehouse storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory counts, audits, and inventory control activities.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as authorized.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and customer interactions.
  • Follow all company safety policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support daily warehouse operations and collaborate with team members to meet business objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch and warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 
  • One (1) year or more of delivery driving, warehouse, distribution, or related experience preferred. 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. 
  • Ability to meet company driving and insurability requirements. 
  • Forklift experience required. 
  • Ability to safely operate box trucks and warehouse equipment. 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout   the shift. 
  • Willingness to work in both warehouse and delivery environments. 
  • Ability to load, unload, and transport materials safely. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
