WSR Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Client Services Team Lead to provide hands-on leadership, operational consistency, and team development across our Commercial Lines and Personal Lines service teams.

You’ll play a key role in translating department priorities into daily action while supporting growth, quality, and accountability across service teams.

  

About the Role

The Client Services Team Lead reports to the Commercial Lines Service Manager and provides direct leadership to assigned Commercial Lines and Personal Lines service staff within a larger service department.

This role acts as a critical bridge between leadership strategy and frontline execution, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and consistently. The focus is on how work gets done, not just outcomes supporting workflow adherence, service standards, workload balance, and team development as the agency continues to scale.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and support for assigned Commercial Lines and Personal Lines service team members
  • Reinforce workflows, documentation standards, and service expectations
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback and guidance
  • Monitoring workload balance, workflow progression, and execution health
  • Identify execution gaps early and partner with leadership on solutions
  • Support the adoption of systems, tools, and process improvement 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve client experience and internal handoffs
  • Lead and engage both in-office and remote team members
Requirements

  

  • Active California Property & Casualty License
  • 7+ years of Commercial Lines agency experience 
  • Prior experience leading people, mentoring staff, or managing workflows
  • Hands-on experience with an agency management system
    (Applied Epic / CSR24 strongly preferred)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills
  • Comfortable setting expectations, providing feedback, and driving accountability

Location & Work Style

  • Strong preference for candidates based in or near Woodland, CA
  • California based candidates may be considered
  • In-office presence required; California based remote staff must be willing to travel to the Woodland office at least once per month

90,000.00 to 115,000.00 total compensation
