SUMMARY/SCOPE 

The Quality Control Manager will create, implement, update and ensure compliance of the quality control plan for all services specified in the contract. 


DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:  

· Represent the Contractor in all quality control matters under the contract.  

· Attend Government provided training annually  

· Document all inspections results; complete reports and logs as needed.  

· Implement the Quality Control Plan; evaluate all on site processes by confirming required specifications, conduct visual and measurement test, communicate required adjustments to all parties involved  

· Maintain safe work environment; consider all regulations and directives involved and comply with legal regulations.  

· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; comply with all governmental security policies and procedures on training site.  

· Serve as the primary Safety Representative for all Range and Airfield Grounds Maintenance operations. 

· Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with AR 385-10, OSHA regulations, and all applicable Federal, State, local, DoD, and Fort Bragg safety requirements. 

· Ensure contractor compliance with all environmental, occupational safety, and airfield operational safety requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 

· Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and field audits of personnel, vehicles, equipment, and operational procedures. 

· Identify unsafe acts or conditions and implement immediate corrective actions to mitigate risks to personnel, aircraft operations, equipment, and government property. 

· Coordinate emergency response actions involving accidents, fuel spills, fire hazards, injuries, or unsafe working conditions and ensure all required notifications are submitted within prescribed timelines. 

· Maintain accident/incident reporting logs and ensure OSHA, Army Safety Program, and contractual reporting requirements are met. 

· Monitor contractor compliance with spill prevention and hazardous material handling procedures, including Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management and spill response documentation. 

· Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications, licenses, and mandatory safety/security training prior to commencing work. 

· Verify compliance with Airfield Driver License requirements and airfield operational safety procedures for personnel working within controlled movement areas.

· Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 safety standards during all grounds maintenance activities.


Qualifications: 

· Minimum two (2) years of documented relative experience 

· High School diploma or GED  

· US Citizen 

· Ability to pass a background check, DOD Security clearance preferred.  

· Ability to work with limited supervision  

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills  

· Familiar with MS Office, possess computer and typing skills  

· Ability to work normal duty hours (7:30 am to 4:30 pm)  

· Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Army Safety Program (AR 385-10), and environmental compliance requirements.
