Childcare Educator - Baby Room - Full Time


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Baby Room Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their developmental milestones and fostering a love for learning from a young age. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote sensory, motor, and cognitive development

- Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and developmental milestones

- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and developmental updates

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute educational programs and activities

- Support infants with feeding, diapering, and other daily routines with patience and professionalism


Skills and Qualifications:

- Prior experience working with infants in a childcare or early childhood education setting

- Relevant certifications in childcare, first aid, and CPR

- Strong understanding of infant developmental stages and needs

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment

Requirements

  

  • Complete Department of Children and Families 45 Hour Training, in the process of, or complete within the first 90 days of hire. 
  • Experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Teaches  and acts consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy,  objectives, policies and procedures of the school and the Diocese of  Orlando and promotes the ministry of Catholic education.
