Licensed Acupuncturist

At PALM Health, the Licensed Acupuncturist assists in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs for the evaluation and treatment of PALM Health members. The Acupuncturist will provide acupuncture, cupping, and complementary services, and will customize treatments for members based on the health needs of individual members. The Acupuncturist will work with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to collaborate and personalize care for members.

Requirements

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

· Provides full scope of acupuncture services based on condition and customized to the individual’s needs

· Effectively collaborates with medical, wellness, and complementary providers throughout PALM Health as necessary, in the best interest of mutual patients

· Documents all services provided, including treatment goals, ensuring all medical records meet professional standards

· Sees members in a timely and efficient manner by staying reasonably on time for scheduled appointments unless exceptional circumstances occur

· Remains current on medical literature, industry standards, emerging technologies, and information related to Integrative Medicine, and acupuncture/acupressure

· Practices using sound medical judgment and adheres to all ethical considerations of the practice of medicine, knows limitations, and seeks consult when advisable


Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree (required); Master's or equivalent (preferred)

· NCCAOM Certified (required)

· Acupuncture License in State of practice (required)

· 2+ years’ experience in field
