Description

Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, engaging with customers, and maintaining a clean bar environment. This role requires knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service, and multitasking in a high-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, take drink orders, and make beverage recommendations.
  •  Mix and serve beverages according to recipes and standards.
  • Create and suggest new cocktail recipes and drink specials.
  •  Check identification for legal alcohol service compliance.
  •  Maintain inventory and order bar supplies.
  • Process transactions accurately and maintain the cash register.
  •  Keep the bar area clean and sanitized.
  • Follow food safety and quality guidelines.


Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have valid TABC certification
  • Must have valid food handler’s card
  • Meets minimum legal age to serve alcohol.
  • Prior bartending experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of drink mixing techniques and tools.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
