Program Administrator Intern
Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical intern to assist the VP of Programs in a variety of day-to-day functions. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in program management, program finance, contracts management, and other disciplines that support program execution within a small business. This position will also introduce you to enterprise tools and allow you to learn practical knowledge of the inner workings of small to mid-sized enterprises (SME).

Responsibilities

  • Support Program Management: perform various tasks in the execution of program management with a focus on program cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Perform Contract and Subcontract Management tasks. Support the program team and the VP of Contracts and Compliance in      preparing and reviewing contractual terms and conditions and other related tasks.
  • Perform Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with Reporting: Help generate monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc program management reports for internal stakeholders using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Participate in Strategic Projects: Contribute to ongoing projects that may involve pricing strategies, cost reduction initiatives, or market research.
  • Learn Enterprise Systems: Gain exposure to enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools and other financial systems used by SME.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with operations, sales, and other teams to gather relevant data and support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Prepare Presentations: Create clear, data-driven presentations and summaries for senior leadership review.
  • Participate in Learning Sessions: Take part in workshops or training sessions designed to provide foundational knowledge of SME finance operations. Be prepared to take assigned coursework to pursue accreditations, as required, to gain additional skills to perform this role.
Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance Management, or Political Science.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team      environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Salary Description
$21.50/hour
