We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced School Psychologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services to students, parents, and staff in our school district. You will work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.


Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled part-time Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students in grades K-12 to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial and re-evaluations of students to assess their needs for related services.

- Develop individualized treatment plans and corresponding IEP goals to address the needs of students with disabilities.

-Coordinate with the IEP teacher of authority  and contribute to the development of the Individual Education Plan. 

- Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques appropriate to the needs of students. 

- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

- Maintain accurate records of the provision of services and progress monitoring of IEP goals and objectives in compliance with policies and procedures.

- Report student progress through the timely development of IEP progress reports using the Louisiana eSER system. 

- Educate school staff, students, and their families, on strategies and techniques that can be implemented to support student growth and progress.  

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Occupational Therapy

- Current Louisiana license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

- Experience administering assessments to identify student needs and providing written reports

- Ability to meet compliance deadlines

- Experience providing school-based occupational therapy

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 

- Ability to work effectively with school staff, students, and families
