The Supervisor, Maintenance reports directly to the Manager, Maintenance and is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of all machinery, equipment, systems, and facilities. This role includes supervising a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining records, ordering supplies, and implementing safety protocols to uphold a secure and productive work environment.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Supervise all maintenance activities at the site, ensuring repairs and changes are completed flawlessly and on schedule.
- Plan and oversee the daily work of all hourly maintenance associates, determining priorities and ensuring tasks are followed up and executed.
- Ensure all facilities and systems remain in reliable working condition and comply with customer and regulatory specifications.
- Develop and implement a maintenance associate development plan, providing training and growth opportunities for team members.
- Coordinate planned projects and outages with relevant parties to minimize disruption and ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage the ordering and inventory of supplies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and other departments regarding operational needs and progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
