Customer Service Representative (CSR)
The Aircraft Maintenance Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting customers throughout the aircraft maintenance process by coordinating communication between clients, technicians, inspectors, and management. This role ensures a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for aircraft owners, operators, and flight departments.
- Communicate maintenance status updates, delays, and completion estimates to customers.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians, parts departments, and quality assurance teams.
- Address customer concerns and resolve service-related issues professionally.
- Track aircraft downtime and assist in improving turnaround efficiency.
- Maintain accurate customer and maintenance records in company systems.
Work Environment
- Airport, hangar, or aviation maintenance facility setting.
- May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call availability depending on aircraft schedules.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; aviation-related education preferred.
- Experience in customer service, aviation operations, or aircraft maintenance support.
- Knowledge of aviation terminology and FAA maintenance procedures preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced aviation environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking software.
- Professional demeanor and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of parts procurement and inventory coordination.
- Experience working in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment.
- Ability to read maintenance documents and technical reports.
