You will work across multiple teams, including fiction, nonfiction, and kids, and will help ensure authors feel welcomed, supported, and valued in their relationship with Tyndale.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate hospitality and logistics for author visits to Tyndale, helping create a welcoming and seamless experience.
  • Track, source, and send thoughtful gifts to authors for Christmas, birthdays, and other special occasions.
  • Assist with special projects such as the Author Relations website, handbooks, author events, and creative initiatives.
  • Support mailings and administrative tasks with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency.
  • Organize Author Relations materials, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking and submit expenses in a timely manner for Author Relations team members.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite and Canva, or a similar design tool, to support daily team needs and creative projects.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed within Author Relations.

Skills and Qualifications Needed

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a natural ability to foster camaraderie.
  • High level of initiative, ownership, follow-through, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Creativity and a heart for hospitality.
  • Professional, polished communication style in both internal and outward-facing interactions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Canva or a similar design program.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local errands.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, especially around author visits, special events, and internal projects.
  • Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
