We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our Los Angeles operations across multiple restaurant locations.
The Role
The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day Human Resources operations across our LA portfolio. This position will focus on onboarding, compliance, employee records, and HR administration, while serving as a key support partner to both restaurant leadership and the corporate team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit hospitality environment and is looking to grow within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilites:
- Coordinate and manage onboarding for new hires.
- Ensure completion of employment documentation (I-9, W-4, direct deposit forms, etc.).
- Maintain organized employee personnel files and digital HR records.
- Track hiring progress and maintain candidate talent pool.
- Facilitate smooth transitions for employees during promotions, role changes, or transfers.
- Maintain and update HR databases, records, and filing systems.
- Ensure employee documentation meets federal, state, and local labor requirements.
- Support HR leadership with audits, training programs, and HR compliance initiatives.
- Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Support managers with employee relations documentation and HR processes.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Serve as a point of contact for basic HR-related inquiries
- Support restaurant managers and team members across locations
- Assist with employee relations documentation as needed
- Assist in coordinating staff communications and HR updates across locations.
- Provide guidance on basic HR questions regarding benefits, policies, and programs.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, administration, or hospitality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working across multiple locations and teams
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Hospitality, or related field preferred
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a multi-unit restaurant or hospitality group
- Familiarity with HRIS and/or payroll systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
