About the Position

RTX Recycling LLC is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Tire & Bailing Operator to support our recycling operations. This role involves operating tire-processing and baling equipment, handling recyclable materials, and ensuring production goals are met. This position requires attentiveness, reliability, and comfort working in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Tire Processing & Baling Operations

• Operate tire shredders, balers, and related recycling equipment according to established procedures.
• Load tires and recyclable materials into machines and remove processed bales.
• Monitor equipment performance and make basic adjustments to maintain efficiency.

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on baling and tire-processing equipment.
• Report mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas around equipment.

Production & Quality Control

• Follow production schedules and meet daily processing targets.
• Inspect processed bales to ensure they meet quality and weight standards.
• Record production data and maintain logs as required.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to operational guidelines.
• Participate in safety trainings and operational briefings.

 Qualifications

• Ability to operate or learn to operate industrial machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Experience in recycling, tire processing, or manufacturing is a plus.

Expected Hours: 40 per week
