Sr. Account Coordinator
Description

 The Senior Account Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating key customer accounts within the flooring industry while serving as a senior-level resource to internal teams and clients. This role manages complex accounts, oversees scheduling and job coordination activities, supports operational efficiency, and assists with resolving escalated customer and project-related issues. The Senior Account Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring smooth project execution, and supporting departmental processes and workflow improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned and high-volume accounts, ensuring a high level of customer service and communication.
  • Coordinate and oversee preparation of job files, work orders, schedules, and project  documentation.
  • Manage and monitor installation schedules and job progress to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including sales, production, logistics, purchasing, installation, and warranty to support successful project execution.
  • Assist with onboarding and support of new builder accounts and large-scale projects.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding product specifications, installation requirements, scheduling updates, and warranty processes.
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, change orders, and other account-related documentation.
  • Resolve customer concerns, scheduling conflicts, and operational issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating as needed.
  • Support process improvements and assist in developing more efficient account coordination and scheduling procedures.
  • Assist with training and mentoring new or less experienced Account Coordinators as needed.
  • Maintain accurate client records, order history, pricing details, and project information within company systems.
  • Prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS  

Required Qualifications

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • A solid understanding of flooring products, installation processes, and industry standards is preferred. 
  • Proficiency in using computer software and other relevant tools for coordinating accounts is expected.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to sit at computer monitor for long periods throughout the day.
  • Must possess the ability to reach with hands and arms; to move among and between offices; to handle mail and documents; to sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; to lift and move up to 10 pounds; to see well enough to discern differences in quality of documents and files.
