Founded in 2020 in partnership with DuneGlass Capital, a healthcare services-focused independent sponsor, the Allied OMS network now includes 83 doctors serving patients from 49 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, 

Maryland, Michigan, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.


Position Summary

The Operations Manager is a high-impact operational partner responsible for supporting the performance, growth, and day-to-day operations across Allied OMS practices. This role works closely with the Vice President of Operations, Practice Administrators, surgeons, and cross-functional teams to improve operational consistency, patient experience, financial performance, and team accountability throughout the organization.


Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this position is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader with multi-site healthcare experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, embraces change, and enjoys building strong relationships with practice teams. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, a collaborative mindset, and a “can-do” mentality with the drive to help practices improve and grow.

Requirements

  

Practice Partnership & Operational Support

  • Build strong working relationships with Practice Administrators, surgeons, and team members across practices 
  • Partner closely with practices to identify operational opportunities and implement improvement plans 
  • Provide regular onsite operational support and coaching to practices as needed 
  • Support practices in achieving goals related to patient experience, scheduling efficiency, productivity, staffing, and      financial performance 
  • Help reinforce accountability, consistency, and operational follow-through at the practice level 

Performance Improvement & Analytics

  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs and practice performance trends 
  • Assist practices in developing and executing targeted  action plans to improve results 
  • Partner with leadership to support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and margin improvement initiatives 
  • Utilize data to identify opportunities, track progress, and drive accountability 
  • Support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and follow-up on operational priorities and initiatives 

Change Management & Project Execution

  • Lead and support implementation of new systems, workflows, and operational initiatives across the organization 
  • Serve as a change champion by helping practices adapt to evolving processes and organizational priorities 
  • Partner cross-functionally with departments including Revenue Cycle, HR, IT, Marketing, and Finance to support operational      execution 
  • Support integration activities for newly acquired practices and assist with onboarding initiatives as needed 
  • Help standardize workflows, processes, and best practices across the Allied OMS platform 

Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach and support Practice Administrators and emerging leaders 
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and accountable culture across practices 
  • Help identify and share operational best practices throughout the organization 
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts in partnership with HR and practice leadership 
  • Lead through influence and relationship-building in a physician-led environment

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure consistent adherence to regulatory and compliance standards across all locations 
  • Partner with Compliance and HR on audits, investigations, and risk mitigation 
  • Maintain operational readiness across a multi-state regulatory environment 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, healthcare administration, or related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive multi-site healthcare or dental operations experience preferred
  • Experience in oral surgery, dental specialty, healthcare operations, or physician practice management strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence teams without direct authority
  • Strong financial acumen with experience influencing or owning P&L performance
