Description
Zuern Building Products & Design Center is actively seeking a full time Window & Door Account Manager at our Appleton location.

- Manage all aspects of the customer relationship in terms of unit pricing, scheduling of product delivery, assembling job packs for the installers, follow through on customer requests, and any additional information needed by the customer or sales coordinator
- Regularly meet with and assign tasks for the sales coordinator to assist in sales fulfilment including but not limited to: quotation and order requests, setting up new job accounts and maintaining job pricing, customer and vendor calls
- Provide estimate proposals to customers including offering product and service solutions geared toward each project and continually following up to secure the proposals outstanding
- Attend client/builder meetings in client office and/or jobsite and conduct product selection meetings in our showroom
- Stays current with window and door knowledge by attending vendor training opportunities, vendor pricing, product options and availability, structural building codes and proper product usage, computer programs, including the P.O.S. system, Window software, Microsoft Office, Internet/Email and network
- Reviews and clears up any product, service or payment issues with customers
- Provide sales forecast on a monthly and annual basis for assigned accounts and targeted prospects as well as identifying new category sales opportunities within existing accounts to general manager and sales director including detailed tasks to be accomplished for each customer to attain those goals throughout the year
- Perform material take-offs with the window specialist in conjunction with learning the window programs and working with the team
- Perform job site visits to verify product, size, and specification as needed per project
- Acts as a back up to inside sales to assist customers when help is needed
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Requires High School Diploma and 3-5 years of lumberyard experience or 2-4 year degree related to business or construction industry.
- Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements of square foot and cubic foot
- Strong computer skills and understanding of ZuernBuilding Products software platform
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, climb and reach
- Vast product knowledge of building materials and practices
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers
- Excellent customer service skills
Work Requirements:
1. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and medically able to operate a Zuern company vehicle
2. Must be willing and able to travel with Zuern provided company vehicle up to 60 percent of the time
