SKILLBRIDGE INTERN CABLE & TELECOMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICIAN: ADVANCED TECHNICIAN

The Advanced Technician performs complex installations including high-density cabling, advanced fiber splicing, and system certification. This role is responsible for learning QA/QC, ensuring all work meets client and industry standards. The Advanced Technician mentors junior personnel, resolves technical challenges, and ensures system performance validation.


Focus: Coordination, documentation, and operational support. Intended for participants whose strengths or background align with operational support, project coordination, logistics, administration, or cross-functional business support. This track provides exposure to the systems and processes that support successful field and technical operations.


Key Training Areas:

  • Project coordination and task tracking 
  • Documentation management and reporting 
  • Inventory, materials, and logistics support  
  • Communication with internal teams and stakeholders  
  • Scheduling support and workflow organization  
  • Operational processes, accountability, and business systems  

Outcome: Participants gain practical experience in the administrative and operational side of technical projects and may be prepared for roles in operations support, project support, logistics coordination, or administrative support functions.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Duration of training: 91 - 120 days 
  • Perform advanced fiber splicing and certification
  • Execute high-density and data center installations
  • Conduct QA/QC inspections and system validation
  • Mentor and guide junior technicians
  • Placement on a track is based on prior experience, military background, technical aptitude, business needs, and program availability.
  • Target MOCs 3D1X2, 3D1X7, 25L, 25B, 25H, 0612, 0631

To be eligible for SkillBridge, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29.
  • Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military.
  • Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date.
  • Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command.
  • Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location

The EOA Technologies SkillBridge Program is organized into five structured training tracks designed to support transitioning Service Members as they build practical, career-ready skills in telecommunications, data center infrastructure, technical operations, and leadership support functions. Each track is intended to provide hands-on learning, supervised experience, and exposure to real-world business operations.


Participation in this program does not constitute employment with EOA Technologies. Participants remain active-duty Service Members under the authority of their respective military branch throughout the duration of the program.
