We are rapidly expanding our presence in the Milwaukee market and are looking for a high-impact sales leader who’s ready to execute our vision and elevate the performance of our team. This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves sales leadership role designed for someone who loves being in the field, coaching in real time, and driving action every day. A major priority in this role is partnering directly with unvalidated consultants to help them build confidence and close new business, you will be in the field attending prospect meetings. Working in close collaboration with the Milwaukee operational leader, this role plays a key part in strengthening a culture of growth, accountability, and momentum within the local office. Leveraging a strong Milwaukee network, the ideal candidate will open doors, create market visibility, and accelerate opportunities that fuel growth.


This role offers an aggressive, performance-driven compensation model with clearly defined opportunities for long-term ownership. 

  • Leadership: You provide the clarity, coaching, and accountability consultants need to grow and succeed. You lead by example, leveraging your network, articulating commercial insurance solutions effectively, and setting the sales culture to drive the team forward. You motivate unvalidated consultants by instilling confidence and setting high-performance expectations that consistently drive new business results. In support of continuous improvement, you apply strong talent assessment and coaching skills by participating in interviews and contributing to the onboarding and development of unvalidated consultants.  
  • Strategic Sales Focus: You understand the dynamics of the insurance marketplace and use that knowledge to execute sales wins. You know how to shorten sales cycles, improve close ratios, and use tools that lead to sustainable book growth. 
  • Communication: You excel at reading the room; quickly assessing personalities, motivations, and buying cues to adapt your style in the moment. Whether you’re supporting a client meeting or expanding Hausmann Group’s presence in the Milwaukee market, you communicate with clarity and confidence. Your skill at tailoring messages, asking thoughtful questions, and creating genuine connection elevates producer effectiveness and strengthens the overall client experience.  
Requirements

  • You know your way around a computer and won’t have any concerns navigating an array of internal systems and generating reports and spreadsheets from those sources. 
  • You are a clear and effective writer and communicator, both written and verbally.
  • You have a high degree of self-motivation and ability to make decisions when faced with ambiguity.
  • You hold a valid Wisconsin Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance license, within 3 months of hire. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work in a stationary position 90% of the time. 
  • Constantly able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery 90% of the time.
  • Constantly able to observe details, including letters, numbers and colors, at close range.
  • Able to move or transport objects weighing up to 10lbs. Frequency and duration will vary. 

Working Conditions:

  • Position will be headquartered in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin office.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Estimating 20-60% regional travel; travel will be to prospect locations and meeting with COIs.
  • The nature of this role calls for adaptability, with hours that may extend beyond a traditional workday to support evolving priorities.
