Position Overview

Our clients run fleets and owner-operator businesses across the country and they count on us to keep them moving. As our Licensing Specialist II, you'll be the trusted expert they call first. You'll bring deep regulatory knowledge, a client-first mindset, and the speed and accuracy that businesses depend on when deadlines are on the line. You'll independently manage your time and your client base, staying ahead of industry changes so your clients never have to worry.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IRP titling and registrations for clients nationwide
  • Build and maintain client relationships through light account management, checking in proactively, answering questions quickly, and ensuring clients always feel supported
  • Process federal operating authority: US DOT numbers and MC numbers
  • Handle new applications and annual renewals with accuracy and urgency
  • Proactively track and manage clients' expiring registration renewals before issues arise
  • Manage cases within Licensing and Owner-Operator accounts
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and warm-hand leads to CNS Insurance and the Hours-of-Service team for ELD needs

Secondary / Back-Up Support Responsibilities and Duties

This position will have the following support role responsibilities:

  • Processing licensing tasks from CNS specialists and directly from clients: 
    • Auto titling and licensing
    • General notarization
    • State-specific licensing services
  • Other duties as assigned; special projects
