Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) | Company Vehicle | $100K+ Opportunity
Description

Restoration 1 of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to help grow our restoration and reconstruction business throughout North and Central New Jersey.
 

When homes and businesses suffer water damage, fire damage, mold, sewage backups, storm damage, or other disasters, Restoration 1 is the team property owners trust to restore their property and get life back to normal.
 

This is a field-based sales role focused on building referral relationships and generating new business opportunities. You will spend most of your time meeting with insurance professionals, plumbers, property managers, facility managers, and commercial property owners throughout your territory.
 

The ideal candidate is competitive, self-motivated, professional, and relationship-driven. We are looking for someone who enjoys building connections, creating opportunities, and growing a territory through consistent prospecting and networking.
 

Responsibilities Include:
 

• Building and maintaining referral relationships
• Generating restoration and reconstruction opportunities
• Conducting in-person sales visits and networking activities
• Attending industry and community events
• Following up on leads and opportunities
• Maintaining accurate CRM records
• Working closely with mitigation and reconstruction teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience
 

This position offers a company vehicle, base salary, uncapped commissions, benefits, and a clear path into future sales leadership opportunities.

 

Requirements

 Required Qualifications
 

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable spending 80% or more of work time in the field
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to use CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
 

Preferred Qualifications
 

• Experience in outside sales, business development, account management, or relationship-based sales
• Experience in restoration, construction, insurance, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, property management, real estate, staffing, payroll sales, or other B2B sales environments
• Existing relationships within the North or Central New Jersey market

Salary Description
Target First-Year Earnings: $100,000 - $150,000+
