Maintenance Technician – Full-Time, 2nd Shift and Weekends Required
Join Lake Lawn Resort as a Maintenance Technician and help keep our resort running smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone skilled in facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple systems.
Position Details

- Shift: 2nd shift, weekend availability required
- Department: Engineering / Maintenance
What You’ll Do
- Complete maintenance work orders and service requests across the property
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Repair and maintain equipment (heaters, exhaust fans, kitchen equipment, etc.)
- Perform light carpentry, painting, and general repairs as needed
- Prepare basic labor and material estimates for maintenance projects
- Monitor and maintain pool systems, including chemical adjustments and filtration
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations
- Assist with seasonal tasks, including snow removal
- Support team training and follow all safety procedures
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of maintenance or related experience preferred
- Experience in one or more areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or carpentry
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Active role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and use of tools
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions
- Fast-paced, high-volume resort environment
