 Position Summary: 


The position of Registration Account Manager is responsible for managing specific, assigned accounts within the company that require advanced Registration components and call for frequent client interaction regarding Registration requirements. This position could also apply for accounts with Registration only programs. This individual works very closely with our clients and oversees the complete Registration process of programs to ensure flawless delivery and service. Mutual partnership with all departments and the Registration AD (if applicable) and Operations AD is expected with sole ownership of Registration services on accounts and/or programs. 

This position requires experience of at least 3+ years in a Registration role and is at the discretion of the Director of Registration Services and the Officers of the company.

1. Assists Officer or Sales with presentation and program development, as related to Registration Services

2. Guiding/Directing team for overall success. Drive timeline management and completion of Registration deliverables. 

3. Full management of all Registration responsibilities

4. Assists Sourcing with program costing, planning and development of Registration programs as needed

a. Pre-sales: Budget management with sourcing including estimated hours for service (all registration components), Vendors, Hotel blocks and onsite staffing

b. Pre sales: Supports RFP for vendors and Sales Presentations

c. Pre sales: Management of selected vendors

5. Serves as point of escalation and management of registration team with issues

6. Platform ownership and driving high-level timelines

7. Registration and attendee experience ownership of all virtual, in-person and hybrid events assigned

8. Define and assign R&Rs on team

9. Client Management and conducting difficult conversations/communication. Serves as point of escalation for any client-facing issues. 

10. Fully supports Registration Manager(s) assigned to project

11. Assumes role of Team leader on assigned accounts

12. In conjunction with Event Manager, leads all pre-program walk through meetings

13. Primary and/or supportive client liaison, responsible for overseeing all communication with client

14. Responsible for overall quality of target accounts

15. Liaison with internal EEG departments for event and team success (Sourcing, Registration, Information Systems, Platform, Operations, Air, Tradeshow & Sponsorship and Accounting)

16. Liaison and own relationship with technology vendors (Virtual, Production, lead retrieval, on-demand badging, mobile apps, etc.)

17. Manages program budget, invoicing and schedule of payments for Registration only programs

18. Responsible for working with Platform for the development of Web registration or 3rd party registration/virtual vendor

19. Manages hotel contracts (along with Sourcing team)

20. Coordinates internal team and communication process

21. Reviews staffing needs with Registration AD (if applicable), Director of Registration Services and Travel Staff Manager as needed on Registration only programs

22. Ownership of onsite management- flow, onsite execution, desk layout, staffing, training, escalation, issues, vendors, testing and reporting

23. Oversees on-site program Registration; acts as client liaison 

24. Oversees the reconciliation of final bills in regards to Registration and rooms billing

25. Leads client de-brief meetings post-program for all Registration components

26. Responsible for reselling business for future years and selling inside assigned accounts

27. Participate in site inspections (as needed)

28. Participate in any aspect of on-site program production that may be requested

29. Coordinate in conjunction with the IS Department any on-site equipment needs; perform on-site IS function as needed

30. Support training internal team for any custom process for specific program (ie; Passkey, 3rd party registration system, virtual, etc)

31. Support Registration Trainer for any specialized training with registration area or 3rd party registration system

Requirements

Required Travel: This job requires approximately 15% - 30% travel.


Environment and Physical Demands:


This job is managed in the office from M-F 8am-5pm PST. This position operates in a professional office environment, using standard office equipment M-F 8am-5pm PST. Must be able to manage background noise during busy times. Hours may fluctuate occasionally based on business needs. Any off hours will be discussed and approved in advance with direct manager.

The employee is frequently required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Remote work is an option, but details should be discussed with direct manager.

Education and Experience: 


Required:

1. Bachelor’s Degree 

2. Experience with database systems

3. Google Suite + Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge (Expert)

4. Minimum 3-5+ years of Registration event/program management experience 


Preferred:

1. Minimum 5 years of customer service experience 

2. Knowledge of hospitality operations

3. Knowledge of event technology; mobile apps and /or event registration systems
