Description

Innovative Aerosystems is seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join our manufacturing team in Exton, PA. In this hands-on role, you'll prepare and finish precision components used in innovative aerospace and defense applications. We're looking for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in producing high-quality work and maintaining exceptional finish standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare parts for coating through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface inspection
  • Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray equipment
  • Ensure uniform coverage and high-quality finishes that meet company standards
  • Operate curing ovens and monitor coating processes
  • Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and appearance
  • Maintain spray equipment, booths, and work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Requirements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of powder coating experience preferred
  • Experience with industrial finishing, automotive painting, or related coating processes is a plus
  • Ability to read and communicate technical information
  • Experience working in a quality-driven manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to work with both small precision components and larger assemblies
  • Ability to pass a vision examination
