Magnify of Central Florida is seeking a mission-driven Development Coordinator – Individual Giving to support donor engagement, stewardship, fundraising campaigns, and development operations. This role plays an important part in strengthening relationships with donors while supporting fundraising strategy through donor communications, campaign coordination, grant support, and data management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about advancing services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This position supports the Development team by ensuring timely donor acknowledgment, accurate CRM management, stewardship coordination, and integration of program impact data into fundraising communications and appeals.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1–3 years of nonprofit, fundraising, communications, administrative, or related experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience with CRM/database systems and Microsoft Office or similar productivity software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus
Key Responsibilities
Donor Stewardship & Fundraising Support
- Process and acknowledge donor gifts accurately and promptly
- Maintain and update donor records within the CRM database
- Coordinate donor stewardship activities and individual giving campaigns
- Support direct mail campaigns, monthly giving initiatives, and mid-level donor engagement
- Generate donor reports, prospect lists, and cultivation briefings
Events & Relationship Management
- Assist with donor cultivation and stewardship events, including the Harvest Ball
- Support moves management activities to strengthen donor relationships and fundraising outcomes
Grant & Case Support
- Assist with grant proposal preparation by drafting boilerplate language and assembling required documentation
- Collaborate with program teams to gather outcomes, impact metrics, and success stories
- Help develop compelling cases for support and donor communications
Administrative & Team Collaboration
- Partner with Development & Marketing staff to integrate program data into fundraising campaigns and communications
- Support continuous improvement of stewardship and fundraising practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
