Maintenance Technician - Hotel

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a part time Maintenance Technician, where your skills will ensure our hotel remains a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires evening and weekend hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel facilities. 

- Respond promptly to housekeeping and maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption

- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and building systems as needed

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

- Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces and guest rooms for special occasions

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies at all times

- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve operational efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in the hospitality industry

- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods

- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical) are a plus
