Position Summary
The Electronic Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling wiring harnesses, power packs, and other electrical sub-assemblies used in Arrow’s electronic gaming products. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow drawings and work instructions, and experience working with electronic assemblies and hand tools. This is a non-union, Monday through Friday, 1st shift position from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work from procedure checklists, assembly drawings, schematics, and written instructions.
- Construct and install wiring harnesses.
- Assemble power packs and other electrical sub-assemblies as assigned.
- Use soldering irons, multi-meters, and other hand tools as needed.
- Exercise proper care when using tools, equipment, and materials.
- Identify and report faulty equipment, defective materials, improper operations, or unusual conditions to supervision.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, and dollies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of experience assembling light to medium assemblies and/or complex electronic equipment.
- Prior experience using soldering irons, multi-meters, and hand tools required.
- Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, checklists, and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. on an infrequent basis.
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment with loads up to 450 lbs.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The noise level in the work environment is generally low.
