Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  1.  Oversee the daily workflow and schedules department activities. 
  2.   Supervise and develop the supply chain team. 
  3.   Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. 
  4.   Regularly conducts one-on-one with team members. 
  5.   Play key roles in the recruiting, retention, and discipline of supply chain team members. 
  6.  Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  1.  Develop, lead and execute supply chain strategies. 
  2.   Perform strategic sourcing activities. 
  3.  Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with the company policies, standards, laws, and regulations. 
  4. Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost effective practices. 
  5.  Manage global supply base across a range of direct material and indirect categories. 
  6.  Maintain supply continuity by ensuring supplier POs are sent by the Supply Chain team at the appropriate cadence and within the necessary planning horizon. 
  7.  Working cross-functionally to support production planning efforts, project requirements, and new product introductions. 
  8.  Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain. 
  9.  Lead supplier relationship management activities, including scorecards, business reviews, and forecasting. 
  10.  Develop supplier relationship management tools to achieve key company objectives. 
  11.  Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison,or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain and to balance supply continuity with cost. 
  12.  Solve current or potential future supply gaps through various strategies including multi-sourcing, substitute materials, etc. 
  13.  Executing strategic sourcing initiatives to improve lead times and overall product quality, and to lower cost 
  14.  Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies. 
  15.   Maintains required quantity of supplies and materials to optimize production. 
  16.  Monitor global freight activity, including assisting freight forwarders with customs clearance. 
  17.  Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company. 
  18.  Inform Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Coordinator/GRC Owner of any risk greater than 50k Euro. 
  19.  Follows the Export Control procedures. 
  20. Be hands on 
  21. Perform other duties as assigned. 
  22. Follows and complies with all corporate compliance and rules. Follows BIZLINK Code of Conduct and BIZLINK policies. 
  23. Ensure that all DP-Document Procedures and WI-Work Instructions are adhered to daily.

Education and Experience:

High Level of Education: Bachelor Degree- Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent work experience 

Study/Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration 

Work Experience: Working experience as Supply Chain Management, Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management EPR systems experience 

Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience
