Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to the housekeeping department by delivering linens, toiletries, and other supplies as needed and replenishes supplies in public areas.
  • Assists with preparing rooms for cleaning upon guest departures and with deep cleaning projects.
  • Performs all tasks and functions related to laundry and linen care. 
  • Maintains appropriately stocked linen and storage rooms. 
  • Meets all cleanliness and time requirement standards established for cleaning various areas of the hotel. 
  • Provides exceptional guest service and responds promptly to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Performs basic maintenance skills including plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, and changing batteries. 
  • Handles chemicals and cleaning supplies with care and in accordance with standards.
  • Operates commercial laundry and cleaning equipment.
  • Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.  
  • Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
