Job Summary:  

Luminos Hospice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Quality Assurance RN (QA) to join our team. As an QA Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that hospice care services meet established standards and regulations. Your role involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of patient care, developing and implementing quality improvement plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare policies and procedures. You may conduct audits, collect and analyze data, and provide education and training to staff to maintain high standards of care. By focusing on continuous improvement and patient-centered practices, you will help to enhance the overall effectiveness and quality of hospice services. 

Requirements

 

Licensure:
Current State license as a Registered Nurse. 

Current driver’s license. 

Current CPR Certification.
 

Experience:
Two (2) years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting and one (1) year full-time hospice preferred.
 

Skills:
Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. 

Knowledge of state and federal regulations. 

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. 

Strong attention to detail and organizational habits. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Good interpersonal skills.
 

Transportation:
Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
