Description

Georgia Banking Company is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial VP, Mortgage Market Manager to lead the expansion of a new mortgage market. This role is ideal for a proven mortgage leader with a strong production background, deep local relationships, and a passion for building and developing high-performing teams.
 

As a VP, Market Manager, you will be responsible for launching and growing a new market, recruiting and coaching a team of Mortgage Loan Originators, and driving production through both personal origination and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on market development, revenue growth, and establishing Georgia Banking Company as a premier mortgage provider in the region.


Key Responsibilities

· Lead the development and execution of market growth strategy, including business development, branding, and local market presence.

· Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of Mortgage Loan Originators.

· Coach and mentor loan officers to drive individual and team production, referral generation, and customer experience.

· Maintain and expand relationships with realtors, builders, and key referral partners to generate consistent loan volume.

· Personally originate mortgage loans while contributing to overall market production goals.

· Partner with operations, underwriting, and secondary teams to ensure efficient and compliant loan processing and closing.

· Monitor performance metrics, pipeline management, and profitability of the market.

· Ensure compliance with all federal and state mortgage lending regulations and company policies.

· Stay current on industry trends, loan products, and competitive positioning within the market.

Requirements

· Active Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS) License in the state of Georgia (required).

· Proven track record of mortgage production and success in a leadership or team-building capacity.

· Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain top mortgage talent.

· Strong established network of referral partners, including realtors, builders, and financial professionals.

· In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans.

· Strong leadership, coaching, and organizational skills.

· Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a market from the ground up.

· Excellent communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
