Description

Successful candidate will be located in one of the following locations: Pooler, GA; Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Bristol, VA; Chicago, IL or Stanton, MI. 


The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for leading site selection, site securing, and infrastructure development activities that support network expansion across the multi-state operation. This role oversees the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of sites for huts, cabinets, POPs, and wireless asset infrastructure, while managing permitting, land access, construction readiness, and managing ground lease activities. The Infrastructure Manager also directs vendors and contractors, partners cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and legal teams and ensures infrastructure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and on schedule.


What you will do:

  • Lead site selection efforts for huts, cabinets, POPs, wireless asset, and related network infrastructure based on engineering, access, power, route, and construction requirements
  • Manage site securing activities, including landlord engagement, site negotiations, lease coordination, easements, licenses, rights of entry, and other agreements required to establish site control
  • Oversee wireless asset ground lease management and support wireless infrastructure initiatives, including compound access, site modifications, landlord coordination, decommissioning of unprofitable wireless assets and compliance with lease obligations
  • Coordinate feasibility reviews, zoning, permitting, municipal approvals, utility coordination, and land-use requirements to support timely infrastructure deployment
  • Manage the development and construction process for huts, cabinets, pads, fencing, and other field infrastructure from pre-construction through deployment readiness
  • Create and manage project plans, schedules, objectives, procedures, and performance standards for multiple infrastructure projects across multiple markets
  • Track deliverables, due dates, and project risks, and ensure mitigation plans are in place for site acquisition, permitting, and construction milestones
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, legal, finance, sales, and other internal teams to align site development and infrastructure execution with company goals
  • Manage third-party vendors, consultants, landlords, and permitting or construction partners to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Keep leadership informed of project status, critical developments, lease issues, permitting risks, and changes that may affect deployment schedules
  • Maintain accurate trackers, documentation, agreements, construction records, and status reporting for site development and infrastructure activities
  • Regular travel required for site walks, field visits, stakeholder meetings, and project oversight
  • Ability to support a fast-paced, demanding work schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or after-hours coordination as needed
  • Ability to handle constructive feedback and high-stress situations in a professional manner
  • Other duties as assigned 


Requirements

What you will need:

  • 3+ years of telecommunications, wireless, utility infrastructure, or related experience and 3+ years of supervisory experience in a related field
  • Experience managing ground leases, easements, licenses, rights of entry, or similar real estate and access agreements
  • Experience overseeing permitting, municipal coordination, land access, and construction readiness for network infrastructure sites
  • Strong collaboration skills across internal teams, stakeholder groups, landlords, municipalities, and third-party partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally to accomplish project goals, negotiate issues, and drive outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data management and analytical skills is a must 

Preferred

  • Fiber ISP, telecom, wireless, tower, or utility infrastructure experience
  • Experience leading site selection, site acquisition, site securing, or infrastructure development activities across multiple markets
  • Experience managing hut, cabinet, pad, compound, or similar field infrastructure construction activities
  • Experience managing vendors, consultants, site acquisition firms, permitting partners, or construction contractors
  • Project management experience in high-growth or multi-market deployment environments
  • Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
