Medical Assistant - Symphony Spine, Pain and Neuro Alliance

The Duties of the Medical Assistant Consist Of:
- Explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients and equipment
- Operate C-arm during procedures
- Uploading images to medical record
- Maintaining and operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Stocking the procedure suite
- Obtaining prior authorizations
- Sterilizing instruments
- Managing radiation badges
- Setting up sterile procedure trays
- Managing sharps/biohazard disposals.
- Responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
- Follow infection control policies and procedures
- Collect specimens for all necessary testing
- Interpersonal skills needed to interact with patients, family members and healthcare team

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred

Salary Description
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
